The 1.5" Snap Lock is a true standing seam panel with a concealed floating clip system — panels snap together without the need for a mechanical seamer, making it one of the fastest standing seam options to install on the job site. The taller 1.5" seam height gives it better water management performance than a 1" panel, and the floating clip system allows panels to expand and contract freely with temperature changes without putting stress on the seam or fasteners.
Available in steel from 28 GA to 22 GA, aluminum from .027" to .040", and copper from 16 oz to 20 oz — making it one of the more versatile material options in our snap lock lineup. Custom panel widths are available from 12" to 24" depending on project requirements. It's a solid choice for residential and light commercial roofing throughout eastern Idaho and western Wyoming where a clean architectural standing seam look is the goal and installation speed matters.
