About the Board and Batten siding
The Board and Batten is our vertical wall siding panel — delivering the classic board and batten aesthetic in steel with no exposed fasteners on the panel face. It features a built-in strip for screwing directly to the substrate, eliminating the need for separate clips and making installation straightforward for experienced crews.
It's a popular choice across eastern Idaho and western Wyoming on modern farmhouse homes, agricultural buildings, shops, cabins, and commercial exteriors where a clean vertical profile is the design intent. Available in the full EZ Steel standard color line including Woodgrain Series finishes — giving contractors and their clients the character of a traditional wood batten look in a material that won't rot, warp, or require repainting.
Note that this panel is a wall siding panel only — it is not rated for roofing applications, requires a plywood substrate, and is not approved for Weathergate Warranties.
